With over 22 years of experience in Health & Safety, Lean Manufacturing, Construction, and the Skilled Trades, Lee is an accomplished CRST, NCSO and Red Seal certified Master 309A & 442A Electrician in the province of Ontario. After years of working in the field at multiple levels of organizations in the manufacturing and construction trades, Lee saw a consistent gap in how Health & Safety progams were being developed and written, and how they were actually implemented in the field.
Using his career in the skilled trades, leadership, and Health & Safety, Lee founded Gemba Group Solutions. Using common sense solutions, Lee works with organizations and leaders to ensure they are Compliant to the law, Competent in their H&S duties, and Confident enough to make H&S decisions in the field as they arise.
By combining his safety and trades certifications, a graduate diploma in Sustainability and Social Responsibility from University of St. Michael’s College, being an approved IHSA COR Associate External Auditor, as well as his positions on the Electrical Safety Authority’s Appeals Review Panel and St. Luke’s Place Board of Directors, Lee ensures that clients receive the highest quality service.
